M&D stands for Mother and Daughter and aims to develop timeless fine sterling silver jewelry for generations to last. The collection is very simple and limited to bracelets, necklaces, ear rings and unique charms. All pieces are made from 925 sterling silver and hand crafted through small manufacturers with true craftsmanship. All pieces can be customized through beautiful engravings and individually complemented with the desired charms. M&D guarantees environmentally-friendly products and designs that survive a lifetime so they can be passed on to the next generation. We only use the highest quality materials and ensure fair working conditions.

A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER AND CEO – Evelina Michalak

Dear Mothers, Daughters and friends,

As we all know, our mother is one of the most important people in our lives. So much so, that we take an extra day to celebrate our mothers in almost every culture. The special bond between mother and child is the inspiration behind M&D. After having my first child, Lucia, in mid 2020, I quickly realized the limitless amount of love that is exchanged between mother and child.

When pregnant, I was looking for jewelry which I could purchase to celebrate and mark the birth of Lucia. I wanted something strong, unique, and most important something of quality yet affordable. While doing some research, I could not find what I was looking for: and M&D was born.

Just like motherhood, creating a business from scratch is an amazing, challenging and inspiring journey – and doing it while having a 5-month-old became an interesting experience. I quickly realized the passion I have for jewelry and loved the creative process of designing a collection for generations to wear. From traveling to Italy to work with our designers to speaking to customers about their own families, I enjoy every aspect of the role. I hope that the collection inspires you to celebrate your family and you create many memories with your loved ones.
